Have you made yourself to believe that because you aren't some superstar at what you do that you don't have anything to offer in life to anyone? The truth is this, we all have something to give and each of us is an important part of God's Plan for our country.  The story today is about doing.
After you hear the story, pass it on and encourage others to never stop doing.

When I was a young boy up through High School, I liked to watch boxing - I even boxed  some myself.
 
But there was one crucial thought to keep close to myself - Be Prepared, and Don't Quit.
 
This story is about 1 American Cavalry that had one big problem - they had no horses to ride in their battle - they were horseless!

There is a lot of talk across our nation today about oil and all of the in and outs of the latest.
 
The story I am giving you today is a story you have never heard before and will teach us all about the real value of oil.

We have just finished an amazing celebration in America and it was so exciting to see people being great fans of America.  Now we are busy watching the news, and there are clearly many people in our country that are not in love with America as we wish.
 
But where does it start? It starts with us, in our own hearts. Take a listen to a number of these thoughts from our Founding Fathers that gave them the direction to keep striving to be a better example to others as how we should carry ourselves.

As you know, we are growing very close to the 4th of July and it is going to be quite the celebration. I have decided that for my July 4th program, I will be doing, each weekend, prior to the 4th of July, stories that are all related in my opinion to be the best American birth stories that talk about our character and our determination to fight for our freedom.
 
This weekend's YAT is a story that happened on Dodger Field in the mid 70's - what exactly happened when two men rushed onto the field to burn an American Flag right there on the field and everyone was stunned. 
 
It is a powerful note to everyone that we would be willing to take on the most dangerous things we could face and do it because we love our country.

This story is about one person who was in harm's way and could have run, but acted in a courageous way instead. We should all learn from this story that you can be someone's hero even if you aren't doing something courageous.
