John Kennedy "Ask Not"

My Story for this week is one that I remember quite well - The year was 1962 and I was 14 years old.
 
I still remember sitting in front of my TV set that night with my family, listening to our President, John Kennedy, as he told us that a showdown was coming with the Russians - and it was quite serious.
 
I have titled  the story "Ask Not".

In my stories, I tell a lot about people who are determined not to just try, but to never give up in their "Doing".
 
Being an AmeriCAN, 'not an Americant' is quite impressive and we must all be AmeriCANs if our nation is to survive.
 
But this particular story tells us about a man, Charles Lindberg, who was not just striving to just do something that no other had ever done, but those before who had failed and died trying. 
 
So, let us see what AmeriCAN Charles Lindberg did.
