Our story for this week is about the most well known Speech in all of our American history - it's the Gettysburg Address speech given by President Abraham Lincoln during the Civil War.
 
What I love about the telling of this story is that my research gives us a much deeper knowledge of the "back story" behind the story parts that we already know.

”Andrew Jackson’s Attempted Assassination”

I use this phrase a lot "Truth is Stranger than Fiction", and I'm alway amazed at just how crazy that it gets.
 
But this week's podcast has got to be just about the "Strangest yet True" that I've told in a while.
 
The plot starts with a man attempting to shoot President Andrew Jackson in the Capitol Building.
 
Does he shoot him??? Cannot tell you - gotta listen.
